Doriane CHARRON-CHOMIAC de SAS

Singing Teacher and Coach

Doriane received a first prize at Montpellier Conservatoire (CNR). She was a soprano in Philippe
Herreweghe’s Chapelle Royale for several years, and also performed as a soloist in France and
abroad. During her career as a soloist, she perfected her skills both in early and contemporary music,
by working with some of the greatest conductors and singers such as Maurice Ohana, Montserrat
Figueras and Philippe Herreweghe. She developed her own teaching method based on the different
teachings she received (Feldenkrais and Alexander Technique, and methods by Jacqueline Bonnardot
or Richard Miller), to master all aspects of vocal technique. She now teaches singing in Niort, Paris
and London. Having a particular interest in working with amateur choirs, she is a vocal coach for
many choirs and regularly teaches in master classes in France and abroad. She recently acted as
Choir Master for the BNP Paribas choir, and rehearsed 150 beginner singers to sing Mozart’s
Requiem for a performance with Divertimento Symphonic Orchestra.
She has been working with les Fauristes since 2011,leading weekend workshops and giving individual training to the singers.
